A once-daily fixed-dose combination antiretroviral therapy for the treatment of HIV-1 infection.
Indications
Treatment of HIV-1 infection as a complete regimen in adults and adolescents at least 25 kg.
Dosage & administration
One tablet once daily with or without food. Adherence is essential to maintain viral suppression.
Mechanism of action
Two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors plus an integrase inhibitor suppress HIV-1 at multiple stages.
Important safety information
- Test for hepatitis B before starting; discontinuation may cause HBV flare.
- Monitor renal function; adjust in renal impairment.
